This is content for the hero image: Semiotic Labs optimizes web3 and develops innovative products with the best user experience. We have four areas of focus: cryptography, artificial intelligence, blockchain infrastructure, and decentralized finance. Our focus areas are applied to two branches. One branch specializes in research and development as a Core Developer team in The Graph protocol. As Core Devs, we build tools to improve the efficiency, security, and usability of The Graph's query market. Our other branch is product oriented, and our first product is a smart order router that can be found at odos.xyz. We are targeting potential B2B customers, investors, and employees. We want our site to be content-driven, meaning we are committed to making videos, podcasts, and articles. We would like the content to be our focus. We would like the design to be minimal, but some color and shapes would be nice. Graphical elements should be subtle and minimal, e.g. geometric or abstract shapes (sear for Kandinsky geometry). Please use minimal clip art and avoid stock photos with people. We should note that when we ran our last contest, the winning designer took some liberties with our instructions. Please consider our visual style as a guide, but it's not a hard rule.

We will have four pages to design: 1. Home - Please see the attached sketch. Something to note is that there will be four Article focus areas: cryptography, AI, DeFi, and Blockchain Infrastructure. We would like each of these focus areas to have some unique identifier, e.g. a certain color text for the article focus area, a special symbol, or a minimalist icon. These identifiers will be used to distinguish them in other parts of the site - for example on the Content page. 2. About - mission and history of the company 3. Focus areas example - Highlighting one of our niche specialties and our team that is responsible for it. Also highlighting media/content related to the team's efforts. We want to make the team members feel proud and front-and-center on this page. (Although my attached sketch doesn't convey that well.) 4. Content example - Highlights our podcasts, videos, articles, and press Please see the attached sketch for our ideas for each page. In the live version, the "Focus areas" section of the site will have four categories (cryptography, AI, blockchain infrastructure, and DeFi). For this project, we have provided an example sketch using "cryptography", but please treat that as generic so that we can easily swap it for AI, blockchain infrastructure, or DeFi. The only page design we don't have a sketch for is "Content". In the attached sketch, on page two, we note that there will be four different pages for the content types (articles, podcasts, videos, and press). Each of these will use the same template. One thing to note is that we want the ability to filter the content type by "focus area". For example, if the user visits the "articles" content page, they should then be able to filter the articles to see only those relating to "cryptography". We would like to make it easy for the visitor to do this filtering if they want to narrow things down. E.g. by making four check boxes or highlighted buttons (cryptography, AI, blockchain infrastructure, DeFi) that are all checked/highlighted by default, but if the visitor unselects one, then the resulting content will be filtered. The articles in the content section will be written using WordPress. Other notes: Missing from my home page sketch is a "newsletter" signup form field. Please include that in the home page design. Every page will have the same logo and menu at the top. The menu will be a drop-down for some of the options - please see page two of the attached sketch.

No (or minimal) purple/pink or sunset blue please - it's too common in our industry.

We encourage you to start with the home page and then get feedback before proceeding. We are potentially interested in using a color version of our logo.
