Design Kick Ass T-shirt for Firefighter

Overview: The goal of the shirt is to provide potential wearers with a tee shirt that not only displays a valuable brand message but that also offers them an aspirational attribute that will give the shirt an intrinsic value of its own. Target Audience: Firefighters. We’d like to design a tee shirt that will deliver the appropriate message for our brand and still have a “cool” factor that will cause the firefighters to want to wear the shirt regardless of the brand. Primary Message: The front of the shirt will display a message that will appeal directly to the firefighter’s sense of identity and belonging in a brotherhood where valor is valued. The back of the shirt will simply display the company logo. Look and Feel: The tee shirt should appear rugged and be a dark color, probably black or dark gray. It could also possibly have a distressed look. It should present a look and feel akin to Harley Davidson or Jack Daniels. Flames could be incorporated but should not be the primary design element. Colors are permissible, but the pallet should not be overbearing. It should not go too far…the design can be intricate but should not be too busy in terms of design elements. The design would ideally feature around and frame the statement the front of the shirt will display. See the inspiration section with last year's shirt design.
