Vega's Vintage Designs
Third of three T-shirt designs for Vega's Vintage designs. Here is the gentleman - called Phineas. The client provided me with the name, character type -pugilist, barber, gentleman- and tagline. The design at the top corresponds to the front of the T_shirt, the one at the bottom to the back. As the design is monochrome, I mainly opted for the stippling art and hatching in order to nuance the different parts and give the desired vintage look. The typography had to remain extremely readable so I combined not too ornamented fonts but still vintage.
